High Voltage current boosters [RE-wrenches]

Over the years I've had poor luck with high voltage current boosters. 
Reliablity has been poor no matter who makes them. Several pumping setups of 
ours use 180 vdc motors so the boosters need 250 vdc rating. Who has had good 
- bad experiences with HV boosters.

2nd item.

California installers working in PG&E territory have about another month to 
get Trace systems net metered using the current certificate of compliance 
shipped with each SW Trace. After this time the inverters must meet the 
revised IEEE 929 (trace will supply software upgrades)
