We continue to install Fronius inverters on our ground mounted systems here in southern VT and some of eastern NY.-GlennSent from my 'smart'phone, so please excuse typos and spelling errors.------ Original message------From: August Goers via RE-wrenches Date: Fri, Apr 22, 2022 2:41 PMTo: RE-wrenches;Cc: August Goers;Subject:[RE-wrenches] Fronius in the game?Hi Wrenches,I recently had a friend install a Fronius Primo inverter in California. When he submitted for interconnection, PG&E said it didn't meet the current smart inverter requirements. Here is the response from Fronius tech support:"The Fronius Primo and Symo line are not compliant with Rule 21 Phase 3. With the lack of Phase 3 certification, these inverters can't be installed since June 22, 2020 in any territory of the big 3 IOUs (PG&E, SCE, SDGE) or where a listing on the CEC Grid Support (‘Smart’) Inverter list is required."Is anyone still using Fronius on this list? Is Fronius pulling out of the US market?Best,
