[RE-wrenches] Sol-Ark grid tie question

Hey Jason,

So yes the Load will be hot with Grid Pass-thru - The Sol-Ark has 3 
breakers - Grid (63A) - GEN (50A) - Load (63A) (European type 
breakers).  I have not experienced the delay that Nick observed but 
perhaps cause I've always had batteries on them.

The nice thing is that with the software and phone app on both you will 
be able to program all settings remotely for the client.

As to the Anderson battery disconnect idea - my biggest issue with all 
battery systems these days is folks not using proper OCP on Parallel 
batteries.  With 48 Volt Lithium now in small increments if you parallel 
6 server rack type 100 A rated batteries together you are already at 600 
amps and then if you parallel 4 racks of 6 you are at 2400 Amps! Yes 
each battery has a 100 A Breaker but I see few installers really dealing 
with the fault possibilities in between.

Attached is a Victron Fuse setup I did for 30 100 AH batteries on 4 
Sunny Islands.  It was 5 racks of 6 batteries.  I put each of the 5 
racks on a 200 Amp Fuse and each Sunny Island on a 200 A fuse in this box.

So with the Anderson's you might want to think what amperage fault 
potential is where when you unplug.
