Hi Michael
Ask your customer to measure the battery voltage after the 175 amp breakers right where the dc voltage enters the bottom of the inverter. If he can measure good dc voltage there. And there are no fans or Leds on the control stack and the mate does not power up when plugged directly into the inverter then it is more than likely the power supply. I believe Zonna has them in stock if it is out of warranty. If it is in warranty let me know I can connect you to tech support and they can do an RMA.

A client of mine visited his remote cabin a few days ago to check in on things. He has a Radian 8048A/FX80 w/ 2kw PV. When he shutters the place for the winter he turns the inverter off, sets AGS to OFF, and only the FX80 is left on. When he tried to turn the inverter on at the Mate 3S, it would not activate. Charger light is on and the Mate is showing charging happening. I instructed him to power cycle, which he did a few times, then plug and unplug the Mate cable at both the Mate and Hub….Nada. Any suggestions before I make a long expensive trek out there to do much the same? I do have extra cables, but I don’t keep an inventory of spare Outback parts as we no longer install their equipment.
