[RE-wrenches] grundfos cu200 failure?

I have about 1200 ft from float switches, two in parallel, to the CU200 and another 200 ft to the pump without any issues. If there is bad connection it could be a problem though.

The wire length from the float switch to the pump controller was over 300ft and ran underneath an electric line. I believe that a small (2V) was being induced into the control wiring and that 2V signal appeard as a closed circuit to the pump controller. I used the float switch to control an external contactor. The external contactor switched a short length of wire on the pump controller's dry contactor and that resolved the issue.

> Jay, I agree it’s probably a controller failure but double check your float wiring, especially if it’s been in service for awhile. The current required to activate that circuit is minuscule. A little corrosion or a loose connection can make that controller do funny things.
