[RE-wrenches] Fair price for an obsolete component

Hi Drake

Just like with Allan’s remote, I couldn’t find any used ones on line to even give an idea of cost comparison. I must be doing my searches wrong.

A new inverter is about $1700, a replacement board is $350. So if you got $500 for it, + the $350 puts you at $850 or about 1/2 price for a 15 year old component, which seems too high to me. If you asked $250, then it’s about 1/3 of the cost of new, which sounds ok to me. But damn that’s not much for it.

Almost worth keeping as a loaner or spare at that price.

Jay

Peltz power.
