This is some lateral thinking, but is that 1940s pump one of those basement piston pumps with a motor and belt drive?

If you run into issues getting a 32v LI pack, maybe consider replacing the pump motor. With the right rpm and hp those old piston pumps work fine. 

You’d have to also boom the VFX 3232, but it would modernize the system.
