My search for dealership options for Onan/Cummings and Kohler does not
seem to be turning up any good options. Generac, on the other hand is
eager to have me. Unfortunately, having an inverter control their
generator will void the warranty at present. The rep told me they have a
new option that will allow this, coming out at the end of the year.
They have a system with a battery and inverter that can be used for
energy storage. Generac is pushing that hard. It is not useful for my
present needs.
Does anyone know of a good place to buy an appropriate backup generator
for a photovoltaic system?
Thank you,
Drake
