At my home I have an Iotawatt installed in my main panel. It has multiple
inputs for CTs so individual home circuits can be monitored but I
personally just use two CTs for my mains and one for my solar output. The
installation of the physical equipment is extremely simple for anyone
comfortable in an electrical panel but the software side of things is
geared more toward the tinkerer and less toward the plug-n-play crowd. For
those savvy with a little bit of programming the Iotawatt can be paired
with a database such as InfluxDB that can output some of the nicest looking
graphs and charts I've seen in any commercially available product using
Grafana.
