[RE-wrenches] Fluke 87 replacement

Hi Christopher,

 

I had to replace my Fluke 87 about a dozen years ago as well.

I went with the Fluke 189 and have not regretted it.

I think I sent it in to Fluke for repair (the 87) and they gave me the option to repair it for $$ or trade it in for a discounted replacement. I chose the improved model.

G'Day All,

 

Well my 24 year old Fluke 87 finally passed. It was a great unit and fit all my needs. Before I go out and buy another I thought I'd reach out to see if any of my peers would suggest anything different or possibly a step above in the Fluke family or another brand?
