Be Aware the 28 volt seems to be getting phased out, I am not 100% sure on this. I bought a lot of 28 Volt Milwaukee gear: 1 – its heavy &  2 – I don’t seem to see it for sale any where I switched to the 18 volt Milwaukee tools & there is an 18 volt portaband.

Hello, Team~ This fine discussion has me considering a cordless bandsaw (28v Milwaukee). 

 

Can those who own a burly cordless bandsaw report if it's also productive on mild steel?

We'll need to saw some C-purlin, square tubing, etc. in steel & using a grit wheel on a chop saw is harsh.
