I'm needing to replace the master SI from a 2006 installation knowing 
that it's only a matter of time until the slave gives up the ghost. I 
want to recommend to the elderly owner that she replace both units at 
the same time since I already replaced the original 5 SBs with two new 
SBs less than a year ago and the 640Ah battery two years ago.

Being several years retired now I have not kept up with the advances in 
GT-BB controllers and so need to hear what the options for a split phase 
240v replacement this established body of specialists would recommend to 
keep this system going another decade or more.
