[RE-wrenches] Supporting heavy flooded batteries

             Our typical battery support :  Start with concrete slab 
which should be the foundation for the shed the power system is in, next 
pressure treated wood of various dimensions depending on battery height, 
next  3/4" plywood, next 40 mil PVC shower pan liner on bottom and runs 
up sides ~4-5" which acts as an acid tray.  Add batteries.  The center 
to centers of the pressure treat depends on batteries (T-105s or Rolls 
CS-21P or??).  We've never discovered any rot, not sure how conduction 
would happen with the 40 mil PVC liner there.

             A wooden support enclosure leaves much more room for 
installation flexibility, onsite mods.  Many times after a battery 
replacement in 15+ years there is the need for new support/enclosure due 
to power changes.  $.02 from Taylorsville
