Hi Mick,

 

Every pyranometer I have seen are simple devices that must be connected to a datalogger which provides scaling, logging and ethernet interface functionality. I have never seen a stand-alone device that has built-in LAN connectivity. 

Are you sure this is what you are looking for?

Sounds like it would be a custom build or a very expensive DAS system pared down to only the pyranometer and LAN functionality.

Hello, Mechanix~

 

Any leads on finding this item would be appreciated. I'd like the sensor to be mounted in the same plane as the PV array. I think the communication protocol I need for this is Modbus/TCP.
