[RE-wrenches] Microhydro and L-ion

I do not get how going into an LFP battery is any different than a LA
for a dump load?

In the LFP, overcharging will shut down the battery BMS
and loss of inverter power.

In LA, overcharging will ruin the battery
over time unless hi battery cut-out is set. It will then shut down the
inverter output and ruin the battery.

BMU relay? We recently installed one and I would really like a relay to
start the generator, based on what the BMU SOC is? I asked Blue Ion about
this but they said it wasn't available? What model are you talking about?
Thanks

Blue ion and there BMU can control a relay as a dump or anything else,
their BMU is far ahead of most. You will need to contact Blue Ion to get
this set up but once its configured your in great shape. In the Outback
program you can use the voltage preset as a dump but because of the very
flat line between 20% and 80% it does take a little more to get set but
because of their BMU the batteries are protected against over voltage. To
set the "sell" I have found much the same in setting up in the Outback
programming using voltage it just takes some time. It would be nice to let
the BMU tell the inverters when to sell, maybe someday. Jerry

"24" volt battery ? I think that's a real word. The
