[RE-wrenches] Solar stock tank aerator

Hi folks:
 
Four years ago we designed a nifty little stock watering system; part of it
was a solar stock tank bubbler.  It was battery based, and ran off of a 20W
solar module.  It's kept the stock tank ice-free (this is over in the Big
Hole Basin where it's icy about 10 months out of the year) and it worked
beautifully until the cows somehow got in and broke it down.  The component
was made by the Pennington Equipment Company (which apparently is no more)
and I cannot find an efficient DC bubbler or aerator anywhere.  Do y'all
have any ideas?  The Keeton Aquatics stuff is overkill and pricey; that
unit, pictured, was around $800 in cost, including the battery.
