The batteries have a built in ventilation and watering system, so H2 can be vented directly outside. 

Alcatel/SAFT publishes detailed specs on the batteries so I think they should be able to get a reasonable result.

They are kind of old school with all the LiFePo units around, but they are really durable and stand up to over charge and full discharge. I’ve used them in EVs and you can boil the snot out of them. Like an EQ every time.
