I had the same info issue 2 years ago & [my apologies] to our Outback rep [Lonnes?] who chimes in here on this RE-wrenches assisted me including specific router boosters & procedure. It went together well despite the client's satellite internet dropping out due to snow on the antenna.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] GSM modem to connect MATE3 to the internet?
Anybody have experience and lessons learned you can share for connecting a
MATE3 directly to the cloud with a SIM-enabled broadband modem? Any particular hardware or wireless service provider to suggest and/or avoid?
THANKS
I think that getting a static IP address is one of the challenges? I've
searched around on the internet but I can't find any good information.
