Colleagues:



I have been intermittently working on a system to remotely monitor and
control a remote Outback power system site for about two years now.  I have
pretty much completed the system.  All that remains is to resolve
reliability issues with some of the components by working with the
manufacturers.



Some of you may find the system offers some interesting features.  I put
