[RE-wrenches] Learning about the grid resources

Hi wrenches,

I am starting to study the grid and how it works, gear involved, voltages, transformers, maintenance...and whatever else I can learn. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for resources for my reading list, or web pages/ magazines you keep current with.
