Dishwasher suggestions [RE-wrenches]

My faithful Asko has thrown in the towel after 15 years of perfect service. Too many issues to deal with and time for a replacement. The 'lil lady is not going for my idea of a youthful French Maid to fill in and wants a new washer. 
When I purchased this machine it was to replace the higher end Asko that I just purchased and smoked the control board w/my mod. sq. inverter. I would like to aviod this hassle again and purchase a known mod. sq. wave friendly unit. If it also allowed one to turn off the hot water boost all the better so I don't have to go inside to defeat it and the associated controls.
Suggestions please for both a dishwasher and a work around on the French Maid issue...
