Gas Range Recommendations For Off Grid Use [RE-wrenches]

Another happy user of the Peerless-Premier here. My only issue is the occasional random ignitor firing, I'll here it clicking away sometimes turning on a nearby CFL stops it. I have gremlins I don't THINK it is the stove although I seem to recall John Wiles having a simular prob. Clock does not keep time on a Mod. sine (Trace U-series).
My biggest gripe is the rather whimpy burner BTU on high (I can't remember if it is 8000 or 9000). I consider 12,000 - 14,000 more like it and also consider drilling out the jet but not got to it in many years (you can tell how much cooking I do!). Also, the min. simmer is a bit hot (simmer too hot and high too low!) but this is an easy fix with a pot spacer to lift it above the burner a bit.
All in all a great range at a good price.
