You can run 120 and 480 in the same conduit. See 2002 NEC 300.3(C) Conductors of
Different Systems, 200.6(D) Grounded Conductors of Different Systems, and
210.4(D) Identificationof Ungrounded Conductors.

John Wiles explains in Photovoltaic Power Systems and The National Electrical
Code: Suggested Practices (December 1996) -"This requirement stems from the
need to keep "always live" PV source conductors separate from those that can be
turned off."
