Sw workaround [RE-wrenches]

Hey Michael -- I think there is a lot more going on here, some of which
is still in the closet, so to speak.  I think everyone that seems
passionate about the SW issue are also people heavily fixated (in love)
with the Trace SW inverter.  Years from now we will all be talking about
the "good-old-days", with all the cool modifcations that could be made
to equipment right from the front panel, even user selected settings for
frequency range!  Of course, years from now there will only be one
switch on the machine, on/off.  We were here at a special (fleeting)
moment when someone put out a product that suddenly did everything we
thought we wanted (except a little).  Then, after it was so close to
perfect, it starts to slip away.  Pissed!  I predict the entire SW line
to vanish in favor of the PS line.  I would imagine the people working
the tech support end have long been advising a move to "less buttons",
and the sales trend away from the Wrenches and towards the consumer
(Sam's Club and the internet), makes such a move even more necessary. 
It's about three minutes til the new year.  I gotta sign off, put down
my beer, and try and catch up......  Kurt Nelson
