Mr. Brand (of Brand electronics) tested a Watts Up meter and found it 
to be very inaccurate and inconsistent for measuring inductive loads 
(motors, transformers, fluor lights). The Brand meter handles all of 
these accurately. We have sold lots of Brand meters and have had 
nothing but praise. I'd stick with it.
