Solar Thermal (was Cold Batteries) [RE-wrenches]

Trav, Since Sam's biz was lost in the San Diego fire of 2000 (he had
been trying to sell it for years, hmm), other people have been picking
up the pieces. In thermal, Heliodyne has started making the DTT series.
I have a few in stock, but have been pushing and moving IE's GL-30. The
reasons for this are as follows. 1. I want to wait and see what the jury
has to say after a year in the field. New DTT and new manufacturer. When
Trace came out with the new SW series, I remember sending quite a few
back. If there are bugs to work out, I don't want to be on the short end
of the stick. In the past, we have seen problems Sam's sensor terminal
block connections, which had the potential of turning on the pumps when
they shouldn't. On a drainback system in the winter in MO, this could
net you a bunch of popped collectors, an empty drainback tank and a
burned out high head pump. The icicles are nice though. 2. There was a
significant price increase on the DTTs. 3. The GL-30 is more versatile.

I'm not saying this is a bad product. Just waiting for the jury. What
wiring problems were you having?

BS I checked Creswell on my spell check and low and behold, we came up
with crewel; noun; a loosely twisted, worsted yarn used in embroidery.
Oh, and yes, Microsoft does know of me. I invented the internet.
