Dual DR's [RE-wrenches]

Hi Folks:  In my initial system, I had a DR1524 running my Vestfrost 
'fridge, computer, scanner and printer.  I'd had the Vestfrost for about 4 
years (I'm on grid, but we do have regular power outages) when I added a 
small solar array and the DR1524.  I have a separate sub-panel just for the 
inverter loads.  For the first time in 4 years the 'fridge made much more 
noise, and ran hotter. Now, even if I put the unit back on grid, it's still 
pretty noisy (but there's less heat generated on the outside of the unit).

The DR1524 ran my computer, scanner and printer just fine, though there was 
a buzz in the computer's speakers.  Since I'm a bit of an audiophile, I was 
loathe to try my stereo with the unit....

I've recently upgraded to a PS2524 and that sucker is LOUD.  I'm glad it's 
in the garage, as it would definitely be prohibitively noisy in a living 
space.
