Thanks Steve etal for the help,

Looks like I have a CCK somewhere in the 1966 - 1972 era.  Very good web
site with onan info on it @ http://www.perr.com/onan.html .  It has a auto
start system on it and runs like champ.  I am very happy with my new used
$500 generator.  Looks like there is parts still available and I already
have a service manual ordered.

Try that with a 3600 RPM contractor special 30 years from now.
