Hi Phil,
Sounds like your'e headed where I went years ago...Siemens.  None of the
manufactureres make what I would call a perfect module, but Siemens is
close and more importantly stays consistant, no R&D at the customer or
dealers expense.  Their module frames are structurally stronger than
most, the knock outs come out cleanly.  The terminal connections are
solid and take #8 wire easily. J-box covers stay with the module most of
the time, this is where they could improve.  Pricing for Siemens is mid
range, which we see as an exceptional value considering quality,
performance, and structural integrity.  We lose some sales to the
low-ballers selling the cheaper products but that is true in all product
lines.
