I remember hearing that a possible cause of excess water consumption in deep
cycle batteries can be antimony poisoning--caused by not charging batteries
to adequate voltages/maintaining at too low state of charge. I remember
hearing this either from a battery guru from Sandia Labs at one of Dankoff's
dealer trainings, or from someone at Trojan at an SEI training. (Sorry I
can't put a clearer name to that wisdom!)\
