Fluke Meters [RE-wrenches]

My 10-year old 87 spent a night under a roof leak last summer on a job.
Stopped working--no, it worked, but the batteries would drain overnight. I
called Fluke. They routed me to the head of tech support who walked me
through how to disassemble my meter and clean it. He was the most competent
technical communicator I have spoken with--and as we know, our line of work
demands clear technical communication. Damned if the meter hasn't worked
perfectly since, too!
Yeah, you get what you pay for.
