Piss poor Trace SW performance in "sell" mode. [RE-wrenches]

	Yes, it's one of the first things I asked them when my SW was delivered
(serial #0013), same promise.

	This another thing we should be beating up on Trace about. How hard can it
be to put a damn backup battery on the system? Fer cryin' out loud, it
doesn't even take any space in the firmware....

	I'll contact Randy Richmond at RightHand engineering, have him catch up on
the thread of this subject and see if he has any thoughts. Randy is
actually smart enough and interested enough to be able to tell up if it can
be done on an economical basis.
	An outboard solution is the only marketable way to do this. Otherwise I
suppose we could create the 'Sine Wave Guerrilla' movement...think of it,
grainy photos of software engineers in camo furtively burning subversive
data into memory chips, Oh! the swarthy appeal of it all.....
