Sales? [RE-wrenches]

Kurt,
   Sales were definitely down in my area of Vermont.  I can't speak for the 
other Vermont installers but I think it was just a year with no motivation 
(Y2K etc) of potential customers.  I hope the rising energy costs will open a 
few eyes to renewable energy.  Everyone I talk to thinks RE is a great idea 
but there is no external push on them to act.  My business was 100% off grid 
this year as this is one area where solar shines the most.  Unfortunately we 
didn't even have any good thunderstorms to knock out power this summer, so 
backup systems didn't get a boost.  I'm getting more inquiries for solar hot 
water as it is more directly fuel related.
I get lots of inquires from my web site but no sales.  Many people refer to 
planning to do something in the future.  Things are looking better for next 
spring as I am talking to several people planning to build in the spring.  
Meanwhile...........
