wall mounting panels? [RE-wrenches]

So if I am reading this correctly, if the panels are on a wall that silly
assed disconnect is not needed?
This was discussed today concerning a small install that I am doing with a
renewable energy group in the area. I wanted to wall mount it as panels can
get in 6-8' deep snow drifts in the area. Wall mount would help that problem
at least.

On another note, I was working on a big battery today 600 AH @ 80 volts and
happened to be holding the ends of the cables. I got a tingle that startled
me, no harm just startled. It is in a mobile machine, hut it got my
attention and made me to think...

I pulled out the Good Book, and 690-5 Ground-Fault Protection sez
"Roof-mounted dc pv arrays located on dwellings shall be provided with dc
ground-fault protection to reduce fire hazards."
So, although the AHJ can determine that day is night, I will look anew at
hanging them off the sides!
