Sunfrost ac [RE-wrenches]

Greetings James,

Thanks for the info on your GE and some of the tips on improving
performance.  I recently bought a fan thermostat designed for running
furnace fans (small "click" button thermostat, six bucks) and will see if it
will improve the efficiency of my GE 10cf frig (TAX10SNXCRWH).  They come in
many ranges and I'm trying a F110/20 (on at 110 and off at 90F).  I plan to
mount it along side the compressor on an aluminum "heat sink" and wire it to
run a small super efficient muffin fan blowing on the compressor, the above
mentioned aluminum thermostat mount, and to channel the air up across the
evaporator coil.  Be interesting to see what this, and added insulation,
does for the frig.  It (right out of the box) uses 750 watt/hrs daily in
summer time use powered by a U series mod-square Trace.  Frig temp is 40 and
freezer 18.

OOPS - I stumbled verbally in regards to the ac Sunfrost.  I ment to say
that their ac units (powered by an inverter) WILL let a sleeping inverter
lie and power up nicely when the frig calls for cooling.
