Winco gen-set [RE-wrenches]

Kurt,

Long shot here..   Maybe the generator control system needs 12 volts and the
battery is so dead it drops well under that after you remove the jumper
cables?  I would unhook any control wires from the inverter to generator
before I did anymore trouble shooting to prove that the inverter isn't the
problem.  Not that this is related but my mechanic told me the other day not
to jump start newer cars as it could damage the computer although he
couldn't explain why.

I'm not familiar with the Winco but maybe the breaker you found to be OK is
the just the DC output for the battery charger and you need to get into the
controls to find a blown fuse inside?
