Dear FlaSEIA Member:

You should have received information about the 2000 Annual Meeting of
FlaSEIA.  It will be held in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of
the Florida Solar Energy Center, September 22 & 23.  A very full weekend
is planned, and FlaSEIA will be participating by sponsoring solar
exhibits during the Open House, conducting the annual membership
meeting, and concluding with the annual awards banquet.  The Florida
Chapter of the American Solar Energy Society will be holding its
organizational meeting and will be joining FlaSEIA for the awards
banquet.

There is no fee for participating in the Annual Meeting or Open House;
however, registration is requested for planning purposes.  If you would
like to exhibit during the open house, please contact Bill Guiney at
321-638-1012.  If you plan to attend the FlaSEIA Annual Meeting, please
respond to this email.  The annual award banquet is schedule for
Saturday, September 23, and registration is required.  The banquet is
preceded by a reception and the cost for the entire evening is a $40. 
Please join us!

Do not overlook opportunities to sponsor functions during the weekend,
including the Friday Board Luncheon, Annual Meeting refreshment break,
Saturday reception and the Awards Banquet.  Sponsor Opportunity
information is included with your registration materials.
 
The host hotel for the weekend is the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach Resort.  A
room block has been set aside for FlaSEIA at rates of $75 for a standard
room and $139 for a loft.  The hotel has been recently renovated, and
offers full service resort amenities, and is family friendly.  The
reservation deadline is Sept. 7, so time is of the essence!  Hotel phone
# is 321-783-2271.  Refer to Florida Solar Energy to get the special
rate.
