Hi Steve and Allan,

My approach is to try to stock a couple of everything on my truck, but not
entire boxes of stuff.  If I have a job where I need a lot, I buy quantities for
the job, and then return the excess to stock.  It seems like a major problem can
be having too much of what is not needed.

My approach is to draw a detailed picture of the system to be installed,
including every fitting.  It is usually several pictures, as boxes in the system
may have grounding bars, fuses, relays, etc.

It does seem that a supply run always is needed no matter how careful the
planning.  Even if I get everything that is needed with no mistakes at the
supply house, something will break.  If anyone is coming in to the location,
they can pick stuff up.  It might be a co worker or customer.
