Kohler full-output at 120 volts? [RE-wrenches]

Kohler 10RY and the discontinued 6.5ROY air cooled 1800 RPM can all be
rewired for full power 120 volt single circuit, or for split 120/240 with
half power on each of two 120 legs. It simply requires switching the wires
in behind the circuit breaker panel to put the two coils in series with
opposite phases or in parallel with same phase.  The diagrams in the
OPERATION (not the installation)  manual,  page 5-1 and 5-2, figure 5-2 for
120 volt full power and figure 5-3 for 120/240 volt.  Output power wires are
numbered 1, 2, 3, 4. #3 is AL:WAYS grounded to  stud on the chassis. Also on
that stud bolt is EITHER gen output #1 for full power 120 volt, or Generator
output #2 for 120/240 set-up.  The remaining two gen wires are connected to
the output breakers as shown in the two drawings.  In reversing these two
wires you will find the small tip on the wire originally on the breaker will
not fit the stud and needs to be changed to a larger tip.  Also there are 4
voltage regulator small white wires on these same output terminals.  Labeled
V1, V2, V3, V4.  Do not move these from where they originally are.
