Tips: 4/0 cable crimps [RE-wrenches]

Greetings, Chuck and wrenches,
    Here's an easier way to get multistrand cable into those itty bitty
terminals.  First, slit the insulation once around the cable, about 1/2 of
your intended length (say, 3/8-1/2")  with knife or cable cutters. Remove
this ring of insulation.  Then, make a second slit-around at the point you
want the cable stripped back to.  Leave this ring on the cable, sliding it
to the end.  It will hold the strands together while you feed the cable into
the terminal.  Once in, slit this ring lengthwise, remove this scrap, and
slide the terminal on the rest of the way.
