Unisolar has lower peak power point, because they don't fall off in heat, so
don't allow excess in the first place. Therefore there would not be as much
boost. I would think with just 25 foot run that upgrading to correct cable
size would be more practical than converting to 24 volt PV and back to 12
volt. Another consideration is that the boost 50 doing the conversion does
not boost or even double when module power is down at 3 or 4 amp level as in
morning or evening or with a smaller array.
