Politically Correct modules - Not [RE-wrenches]

Hello,

There is no such thing as a 100% "politically correct" module. Every
manufacturer uses toxic chemicals in semiconductor production, and just how
well the environment and employee's health are preserved in the process is
hard to quantify. Some are owned by big oil. Some also manufacture control
and distribution equipment for the nuclear  industry. I once had a customer
who refused to buy Siemens modules, telling me that Siemens was an important
supplier to (and money maker from) the Nazi war effort in WWII  .  In this
age of multi-nationals, mergers and aquisitions, you cannot find a module
OEM whose parent company's enviromental record, labor practices, political
bedfellows, ect. aren't objectionable (and rightly so) to some segment of
the world.
