12vdc motion sensing lights [RE-wrenches]

Hi John,

You can get some 9v battery operated sensor units from APC(
#53-538-020).( $27)  They
are pretty cool, they use a 9v battery to operate the sensor which then
switches
a socket.  Works great with AC or DC, and doesn't keep inverters on as
there is
no load untill the motion sensor asks for light.

AS to the outdoor light, they do make extensions or used to that might
work
although I don't know where to get them.
