Inverter manufacturers, take over [RE-wrenches]

What was also interesting at the fair was to see who's coming into, or back
into, the inverter market. Vanner has what looks like it might be a nice
product (lot's of wait and see on that one, since I personally experienced
a BP-40 machine), Fire Wind and Rain is in engineering on a line of small
grid-tie batteryless stuff, and Applied Power had a new unit from
Switzerland (named the "Joker"?). So one "benefit" of the consolidation of
Trace/Stat/Heart is that we may get more inverter manufacturers and more
inovation.
Fair was GREAT. More vendors than ever, but sure was strange having a solar
fair inside on a sunny day!

Group,
Did this really happen? Did I have my head in the sand?
I wish I had gotten the letter before the energy fair, I could have asked
some of them.
Sounds disturbing to me, Less competition is not good for the end user.
Later,
Bob

What are people's thoughts on Xantrex buying Trace, Statpower, Heart
Interface, and Cruising Equipment? Just one big happy family now, eh?
Best,
