Todd chargers... again [RE-wrenches]

	Usually, you'd parallel up strings of batteries, panels, or chargers in a
manner that would represent the least resistance to current flow. Richard
can speak to this, as some years back HP had an article by Carrizio about
series/paralleling panels for best output. It must have some merit, as I
tried it and it did help a bit.
	My experience with multiple paralleled chargers is the same, you really
don't get additional charging current, as the first charger backs off as
the second charger raises the battery voltage. Using a buck/boost
transformer can add to the charging current, but the generally best
accepted solution is to use a DC generator (alternator) instead of running
the AC generator's output through a step-down charger.
	Too bad about he Todds being 12v. I'd still like to get ahold of one (or
more) to play Dr. Frankenshark on, converting to 24v, I think it would be
fairly simple. Also quite within the realm of possibility is a 150 amp
Power Source, with all of the slave modules running from one Master. You
want amps? I can give you Amps!
	Last night I survived a hard disk crash, and am limping along on a
crippled NT operating system until the new hard disk is partitioned.
formatted and loaded with new OS's, etc. Fortunately, all of the data,
documents, graphics and programs were on a separate partition which was not
damaged. Don't forget to do your back-up's !
