Hello Richard,

Once again you are about 120% or more correct!  And tactful and
diplomatic to go along with it.  What you said about inverters is what I
do - give customers the facts and comparisons and let them decide what
they want, they are the ones paying. "You name the tune, you pay the
piper"   I'm also wondering if 230V 50Hz has intrinsically less problems
with mod sine vs. your familar 110V 60Hz?  It would be an interesting
point.

However Sharkey was not exactly correct in the assumption that "someone
is making a buck".  For example, Siemens 75w has a US selling price of
$400.    So $400 x 2(the exchange rate) = $800 local dollars.
	Now add some International freight and our GST (GST is a Govt tax -
like your State & Fed taxes - GST is 12.5%)
	And the selling price becomes $935 which is the price we charge our
end-users. You'll find it pretty true for most products across the
board. He could send me a boatload of RE gear and the end-user will
still pay about the same price!!

But life goes on and I still have to work within its confines. As you
know Richard I'm trying to set up an Energy Fair here and apart from
that its business as usual - promote, promote, promote! I'll just have
to work harder or sharper to spread the word. 

Thanks for your help Richard and keep up the good work. It will be very
interesting to see the ratio of mod sine to pure sine sold.
