Wes,  I think the grand scheme to to get people to remember that living here
on Earth is a pretty good deal and the only game in town and so we need to
pay attention to what we are doing here.  The idea that in all of our
actions we should consider its impact on the next seven generations was
right on the money.  If people really understood that and took it to heart
then perhaps all this talk about family values would take into consideration
that we are all family dancing on a hunk of rock spinning somewhere out in
space.   The idea of renewable energy and sustainable living is making its
way into the mainstream. Let's feed it good compost, let it dance in the
sunshine and harvest the fruit.
