Dual DR's [RE-wrenches]

    I have used a DR2424 at my home for 5-6 years with no
problems/complaints.  It has run simultaneously a cement mixer, tile saw and
air compressor (old, well-worn Emglo brand) during a work party I had last
summer when someone kicked on the microwave.  I waited with anxious
anticipation, and it handled the load.  But it won't run the new
Porter-Cable air compressor I ran out to buy after that event.  Neither will
my generator.  (anyone want a great deal on a barely used air compressor?)
    I added a Exeltech 250 for the audio equipment and VFD pager recharger
last year.  My stereo never buzzed on the mod sine, but a  VCR and a
microwave both went keput, and I suspect but cannot prove that its from the
mod sine.
    I gave a thought to replacing the DR with a PS when they came out, but I
don't like that it comes minus a display, and we have had sketchy results
with using the remote display in the field.
    Ultimately, I decided why fix what ain't broke, I got enough work to do
on the house as is.
