John - we have used Tekris (also on Trace's recommendation) for a couple
U2512s (lightning strikes) and a 5548 (from the previously mentioned
probable wind-genny overvoltage). We have gotten the inverters back in 1-2
weeks, and as you noted they have been very good on the phone. They have
become our default repair station.

Another question. Has anyone used Tekris Power Electronics, Inc in New
Jersey for repairs of Trace inverters. I have an SW4024 on its way to them
for repair. They were recommended by Trace's repair dept in Arlington WA
and
Chris from Tekris has been extremely responsive to questions emailed to him.
