Islanding [RE-wrenches]

Can we get some hard documentaion on this? (How the tests were done, who
witnessed them, letters from PG&E, etc.)? Who should I contact?

PG&E did extensive testing of this at their San Ramone research facility
when the SW series came out. They found that they absolutely would not
island.
I know of this because I worked with PG&E to get what was to be the very
first SW (#00011) online in CA. Trace was working directly with them at
this time, and PG&E was completely satisfied that the SW would go down in
all circumstances when the grid goes down.
